Yogurt

One night, I really wanted some ice cream, but I didn't have any - however, I had some yogurt to make a sauce that I lost the energy/inspiration to make - I also had some leftover fruit from a girls trip in Fredericksburg, so I made myself a little dessert. It was so good the first time that I added the ingredients to my shopping cart on purpose and made round 2! In future renditions, I want to try some peanut butter, granola, or maybe some crushed pistachios.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup fruit*
  • Handful of chocolate**
  • 1-2 tbsp honey
  • 2-3 leaves mint, chiffonade
  • *Strawberries have been my favorite fruit to add, but I see where banana could be good, too
  • **I've used chocolate chips and Brookside blueberries here - both were equally tasty

Method

  1. 01 Add the yogurt to the bottom of a small bowl and smooth the top
  2. 02 Place fruit and chocolate on top of the yogurt
  3. 03 Drizzle honey on top
  4. 04 Sprinkle mint on top
  5. 05 Enjoy!
